Moments from 2018

This year we’ve traveled up and down the country, from down south in Berkshire, to all the way to Glasgow, so many new places, lots of service stations, and lots of amazing people. We’ve seen so many cool venues: a pub, warehouses, a glue factory, a brewery, farms, old country houses, old churches, a secret garden, a cinema, industrial buildings, and a museum. We’ve seen dogs, cats and chickens at weddings, more of this for next year please? We camped on the beach on the Isle of Mull and got engaged with the sun setting on little blue tent. We adopted 2 more chickens and a cat to add to our growing little farm house.

We want to thank all of our lovely couples who have welcomed us into their lives and laughed with us on their wedding day. We are so excited to see what 2019 will bring.

Jane + Craig

Tucked away in the city centre of Glasgow, an old abandoned Glue Factory has been transformed into a beautiful venue, full of character and atmosphere.

The amazing Jane and Craig were a fantastic couple to photograph, they had us laughing non-stop all day and did an incredible job decorating the venue. The registrar was also easily one of the best we’ve ever seen, telling jokes and making the whole ceremony so personal to Jane and Craig, creating a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere.

We feel so lucky to have gone on a little adventure up north to photograph both an amazing couple and such a hidden gem of a venue. Oh, and these guys definitely get the award for persuading the most strangers to join in with their couple shoot!

Christina and Ben

We're so excited to share Christina and Ben's wedding. We absolutely LOVED this shoot!

After having an intimate ceremony with family earlier in the day, Christina and Ben traveled up to the Peak District for their wedding photos with us. When they first got in touch they said they wanted some photos in the Peaks but left it up to us as to where to go, as they didn't know the area every well. So we knew we had to take them somewhere that was a great example of the area, and Curbar Edge was the perfect place!

These guys were absolute troopers and battled against wind, rain and mud but it didn't bother them at all! As soon as Christina said she didn't care about getting her dress dirty and walked straight through a massive puddle without even picking her dress up, we knew this was going to be an amazing shoot and we both looked at each other, pulling excited faces. Embracing the day, whatever the weather brings, seriously is the best thing to do on your wedding day. And makes for the best photos in our eyes. These guys rocked and it was so amazing to do a wedding shoot in such an incredible place that we love!

Oh and how amazing did they both look?! We love those pops of yellow against the landscape.
