Jess and Max got married in a beautiful Church in Sheffield and had their reception in the Mercure Hotel in the city centre. With about 200 people at the ceremony, eleven groomsmen, a groomswomen, seven bridesmaids and a flower girl, this was a big wedding filled with lots love and happiness.
The ceremony was so beautiful and the vicar’s meaningful words about the meaning of marriage made everyone very emotional. The love between Max and Jess was so obvious with the emotional glances between them both (once again Meg was left sniffling behind the camera.) The ceremony was then followed by what seemed like the longest confetti throw ever! After a few couple photos we headed into the city centre for the reception. After the speeches we took the opportunity to have a walk around the city in the lovely evening light to hunt out some of Sheffield’s street art. And the bonus of having a city centre wedding… meeting two power rangers on a night out who agreed to have their photo with the bride and groom!
This was such a special and beautiful day and we are so thankful that Max and Jess asked us to be part of it. Oh… and the Nicholas Cage cut-out has to be one of the best wedding presents ever!
