Jane + Craig

Tucked away in the city centre of Glasgow, an old abandoned Glue Factory has been transformed into a beautiful venue, full of character and atmosphere.

The amazing Jane and Craig were a fantastic couple to photograph, they had us laughing non-stop all day and did an incredible job decorating the venue. The registrar was also easily one of the best we’ve ever seen, telling jokes and making the whole ceremony so personal to Jane and Craig, creating a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere.

We feel so lucky to have gone on a little adventure up north to photograph both an amazing couple and such a hidden gem of a venue. Oh, and these guys definitely get the award for persuading the most strangers to join in with their couple shoot!

Christina and Ben

We're so excited to share Christina and Ben's wedding. We absolutely LOVED this shoot!

After having an intimate ceremony with family earlier in the day, Christina and Ben traveled up to the Peak District for their wedding photos with us. When they first got in touch they said they wanted some photos in the Peaks but left it up to us as to where to go, as they didn't know the area every well. So we knew we had to take them somewhere that was a great example of the area, and Curbar Edge was the perfect place!

These guys were absolute troopers and battled against wind, rain and mud but it didn't bother them at all! As soon as Christina said she didn't care about getting her dress dirty and walked straight through a massive puddle without even picking her dress up, we knew this was going to be an amazing shoot and we both looked at each other, pulling excited faces. Embracing the day, whatever the weather brings, seriously is the best thing to do on your wedding day. And makes for the best photos in our eyes. These guys rocked and it was so amazing to do a wedding shoot in such an incredible place that we love!

Oh and how amazing did they both look?! We love those pops of yellow against the landscape.

Silvana and Mark

Silvana and Mark got married in March at the beautiful Worltley Hall in Sheffield. After having snow both the week before and the week after, we were so lucky and relieved to have lovely dry weather (and sunshine!) The whole day was full of laughter and it was such a joy to be part of.

The ceremony was so personal and full of emotion with some really lovely readings from family members, which clearly meant a lot to both Silvana and Mark. Everyone then headed straight outside for fun with lots confetti! After all the hugs and congratulations we went for a walk around the grounds for the couple shoot surrounded by the beautiful snowdrops and big old trees.

A particular highlight of the day for us was the speeches, they were absolutely brilliant! We always love listening to all the funny stories and the heartfelt messages of love and Silvana and Mark’s were some of our favourites. Silvana did a speech too which was really great, (more women doing speeches at weddings please!) It was so beautiful and funny to see stories from both the bride and groom about their relationship. And then finally we had a speech from the two best men which included many props and a timeline of Mark’s haircuts throughout the years! It’s safe to say it was absolutely hilarious and had everyone crying with laughter.

After the speeches were finished there was the long anticipated wedding bake off between Silvana and Mark, who were more than a little competitive about who would win. The votes were cast by the wedding guests based on which fudge they liked best, and I think you can tell who won! The day then ended with lots of dancing, air guitar and a sparkler send off.
